Celebrating Unscripted Moments and Strengthening Connections

Building relationships with mothers is at the heart of what I do – We all deserve to be seen in the hard moments of parentings and have someone celebrate the victories that will come as well. I know parenting can be exhausting and at times feel isolating, but Mama, you are not alone.

For me, motherhood was not at all what I expected it to be. Based out of Chicago, I’m a wife and Mom to 4 children, one of which has special needs. Navigating this was not in my plan when I became a mother, but I have grown in love, strength, and perseverance.

Your kids should be able to look back on their memories and not just see that they happened but how strong and resilient you are not only as a mother but as a woman.

Choosing to take time to be intentional with yourself and your family through photography is invaluable.

Do you know what’s worth the investment? Photos that reflect you as a family, where you feel seen, beautiful, and strong. Photos that create connection and magical moments.

When photographing Chicago families, I’m confident this is my purpose. Not only do I value modeling this for my daughters, but also allowing space for other moms to be seen, feel connected, and beautiful.

Early Steps to Becoming a Family Photographer

As a mother, my four children inspire me to pick up a camera every day, however the journey here started much before. At 14, I began my exploration into the world of photography. It wasn't just a pastime; it was a way to capture and hold onto the fleeting moments of youth and friendship. This early passion was nurtured through high school photography classes, where I learned not only the technical skills but also the art of seeing the world through a unique lens.

Embracing Motherhood and The Art of Family Photography

With motherhood came a deeper, more profound connection to photography. It transformed from a mere hobby to a vital means of expression. My approach to capturing life's moments grew as I juggled being a mom to four, finding beauty in the chaos, and comfort in the little things like a cold cup of coffee forgotten in the microwave. My photography is a reflection of this journey - raw, real, and deeply connected. It's about telling stories, not just taking pictures, and crafting a legacy of moments that speak to the heart. My laid-back style ensures that your family's story is told in a way that is authentic, heartfelt, and uniquely yours.
